Does Gigaclear use Openreach network?

[link to this post]

The apartment block where I live has Openreach fibre to the door of my flat. Will Gigaclear use this network if I open an account with them or will they want to install there own cable.

Gigaclear don't use the openreach network they operate an entirely independent network. So, yes, they would have to install their own cable assuming they serve your area.

And assuming your landlord and/or apartment management company allow them to install it.

Judging by many people's experiences, you are lucky that you have the Openreach one...

100% correct but also, Gigaclear are the guys who focus on the Rural areas right, this isnt what I think when I hear Apartment Block smile

I could easily believe there may be apartment blocks in rural areas - perhaps the owner converted a rural house into apartments or perhaps they did a build on their land for apartments to make some money from what they might otherwise have considered "dead space".

True, I think if he said flat....but apartment blocks, forgive me, its slightly facetious.

My friend who has Gigaclear and his neighbours all live in the complete middle of nowhere on farms, its just from my own experience.

They're rolling out near me at the moment and we're not a rural area

Is it Duffield area you are in ?.
If it is I would consider Duffield more rural then Derby city !.
