I was a Giganet customer for a couple of years until they switched my connection to CGNAT which broke all of my dynamic DNS host name stuff so I jumped ship to Plusnet instead. Giganet supplied a Technicolr DGA4314 router which I've continued to use with Plusnet as I like the fact that it has a built-in ATA which I make use of as well as 4 LAN ports, all of which are in use.
Giganet have now asked me to return the router. I did ask them how much they would charge me to buy it rather than return it but that question confused the hell out of them. Their website states that if I fail to return the router a charge may be incurred but when I pushed they still couldn't answer if indeed a charge would be made or what it would be.
I've seen a few DGA4134s on ebay ranging from £30-£50 but before I do that is there any other router out there that is readily available, has dual band wifi, 4 usable LAN ports and a built-in ATA? I know I could just use the Plusnet router that was supplied with an external ATA but I like the neatness of a one box solution.
Any suggestions welcome!
