Any word from them on what this will mean for customers?

As far as I can tell, they never had any customers.

The customers will be a saleable asset as far as the Administrator is concerned so he/she will be looking to "sell on" the customers to another ISP. Any hardware / network infrastructure will also be a saleable asset.

It may even be that the iniquitous modern-day practice of pre-pack administration comes into play and the owners shut the one company down, start another, buy the assets of the existing company from the administrator and then have what is effectively the same company but without the debts. Hard lines to all the people to whom they owed money and who will end up getting about a penny in the pound of what they were owed while the owners sail on regardless. The defence of that practice will no doubt be "Well, that's business".

And I suspect for many if your FTTP altnet fails there maybe no alternative except Mobile data , cabinets in my area seem full with no FTTC availability.
