Gru might be despicable but that doesn't seem likely.

It was a joke. Answering your actual question not really, minimal impact, and there are far better ways for them to spend their limited resources than this.

Semi-educated guess someone along the ordering chain has made a small mistake with the farm address. Have had it in the past, usually deliveries.
