I wouldn't worry about the Openreach FTTP rollout for now.

They have their hands full for quite a few more years. Can't unfortunately do everywhere at once. It will come your way when it comes.

Unitil then you have some reasonable alternatives.

I'm not so lucky the postcode area I getting is just one little house I have no idea how it happen. Postcode is just a tiny square compared to other postcodes

Will this postcode has problems with the fibre rollout fttp I know it says on the website between now and Dec 2026 but I don't know weather they mis it out thinking it not worth it

The telegraph poles on the road links multiple homes up so it's on a pole with quite a few wires going out for openreqxh services

It is per property some in a post code may get missed - we have that with my post code. Hence why we have Wessex internet funding as well as OR having done some of the properties.

I'm in my own postcode in Suffolk, but it covers an area of around 50 odd acres. Amazon delivery drivers used to have issues as their maps would show the delivery point as the geographic centre-point of the postcode, which is a large field. Luckily they had enough working brain-cells to work out the house was the place where deliveries should be left 🤣

could have been worse and you got a "delivered" notifcation and you see a photo of in the large field 🤭. We've had non deliveries to Frisbees.......

The telegraph pole is in the postcode next to it on Google maps looks like it has around 11 wires connecting mine and 10 others just have to wait and see what happens

Just spoke to virgin media

They said as the cables were laid behide the properties of the other side and it's isolated it can't be connected to there network which is a shame

Some guy who from the planning said it can't be done.

So looking into what can be done now so it looks like sogfast
