Yes I think it will work via WAN port from openreach ONT? Should be fine for FTTP 500/75

yeah just chuck into wan mode, you may need to tell it go from dsl modem mode to wan. Check the docs - or the one nearest to your model.

I would like to say thanks to two engineers as I was with them all day in this horrible weather. Show me all the processing of fibre optic cable fed the overhead pole, connected to 3 poles and then show me underground the fibre aggregation nodes in the hidden pathway approx 400m away from my end pole. I got video and some photo taken as they say this is fine but no photo allow in the fibre aggregation nodes due to Openreach strictly policy. More work to do tomorrow in final stage. Live expecting in 5th January 2026 rather than April 2026.

I had the same, sort of access when our area was done, and i did explain who i was and also the contact in OR i had. I only contacted them a second time because i had two conflicting dates within days of each other from contacting OR again. The first time back in 21 died a death due to Natural england pausing all fibre work in national parks 😂😑😶

Good luck with your install.

Got question does each pole fed 32 house? What the maximum cable run from the pole to house?

Updated: I cannot believe it, Openreach engineer was working all day into overnight (still at underground chamber to test each fibre splitters using Optical Fibre Cleaver) on his own in the dark and very windy condition. Why isn't he on his own for his health and safety risk. If he faint, or having heart attack, someone will easily steal everything his Openreach tool, Optical Fibre Cleaver, his phone connected to fiber optic tester to exchange etc. I do fear for his own safety. He told me he will working through the night to get it done.

I thought it was supposed to be two of them, never work on it own.
