adslmax Yes very helpful. Is DSLWAN deleted before creation of EWAN or after?

For clarity Max previously stated below
In reply to a post by adslmax:
Go to Advanced mode and on the left side under Network mode, click DSLWAN and deleted it. Now add EWAN below:

ISP List - Other
VLAN ID: untick box (FTTP do not use it)
Internet Connection Type: PPPoE
Username: input your ISP username
Password: input your ISP password

Deleted DSLWAN first then add EWAN (but don't do it until your FTTP go live first from engineer on the day of your FTTP activated or otherwise your normal VDSL2 will no longer work if you did deleted DSLWAN)

Hope this help.

Good luck with your FTTP. I know IDNet are good isp and they use TP Link VX230v for all FTTP up to 1Gig. Let us know how you get on with FTTP. smile

IDnet suggests that "I do not need to worry about that and the engineer will take care of it all".

I think IDNet do have TR-069 auto-configuration send to TP Link VX230v on it own when changing from SOGEA to FTTP. If not, then you know my manual setup help here.

Chicken and egg might be inherent in that for OP's situation. Can TR-069 work without logon credentials in place and being logged on?
