How many FTTP databases are there?

Basically I'm moving into a new build property in 7 weeks but I cannot yet order FTTP.

After checking the following using my new postcode:

I'm just curious that's all?

Who says its just Openreach that will serve the new property, some new build have no Openreach at all and someone like OFNL or Persimmon?

New build the gov.uk with its 4 monthly update cycle will be too old, hence no addresses for postcode.

Openreach a lot hinges on area, but combined with BT Wholesale suggests on the way. A lot hinges on co-operation between builder and Openreach, if a cluster of homes on a road the developer owns then they need to put in the ducting, this is inspected and accepted by openreach and then their fibre teams will build.

Do other homes that have people living in them next-door have Openreach full fibre live?

It is Openreach that is supplying FTTP, I wouldn't have purchased the property without it.

The fibre is in the property as I've seen the connection outside, I'm just not sure if the ONT is in place yet.

Next door which is a new build and they haven't moved it yet, however they can order FTTP as I've checked it. I think it's just a waiting game for the databases to be updated.

two situations here, one that there is a ont, at the property and the database is not updated yet. or 2, they have not actually put the ont in. Check the inside of the property.

Have you seen the grey csp on the outside of the building ?

If it's a new build and Openreach FTTP is installed then you'll be fine, you might want to get the serial number off the ONT for reference. It's likely that the developer is waiting until the last minute to get the house an address allocated so they can hold off on paying any council tax.

Then its likely that its not currently fitted, hence the "planned" bit ........ Its frustrating.

Put the ont on the sign off stages before you buy the house. And in the first instance ask the builder's reperesentantive that your dealing with about it.

At the very worst you may find that you will need an installer visit.

New builds usually fall outside the usual openreach build program , so the status in the public availability data may not be accurate. Availability usually comes down whoever is locally in charge of the build for that site. They can in theory make each property available as and when they are completed.
