One thing with LLU to bear in mind for anyone, is that it involves the ISP putting it's own equipment into exchanges (or buying from another LLU provider). If there are problems early in any rollout, it's more often down to lack of experience with the equipment and/or systems. If problems are ongoing, it's probably bad equipment.
In this case, as they had nationwide issues, or so it appears, I suspect bad kit. As I understand it, they suspended LLU rollout until the problems were resolved, and now are restarting the process. Either the problems are sorted, or financial pressure is forcing them to carry on regardless. We'll only know when we get results form the new batch of connections. In my case, I'll wait and see.
Personally, if you are judging any service or product on opinion, I'd bear in mind there are always more people prepared to advise of complaints than offer kudos. personally if there's a 75/25 split of negative to positive opinion, I'd consider that an average result. 50/50 is probably a good result, less than 20% positive a bad result.
