Terrible speeds tonight (non LLU)

Anyone else suffering slow speeds tonight? Trying to stream a 700kb/s TV stream and it wont do it without constant buffering, on doing a few speed tests it shows speeds are less than 1mb consistently and the connection is up and down like a yoyo in my netmeter which is why the stream is not constant. Been OK with Orange up to now for couple of months, solid 6.2mb connection dipping to maybe 3mb at peak times which you expect and is still perfectly usuable, never been this bad, been streaming the TV feed the last couple of nights without an issue.

Hopefully just a one off and not a sign of things to come each day, as this is one of the main reasons why I left Pipex!

You think your bad mate mine is down to 0.2 download and the same uploading,I've emailed Orange yet again but no joy.
Brand new laptop all checked for problems and running progs etc.
Roll on 3 months till I cancel.

yea same here over in Northern Ireland.. I thought it was to do with me being in the process of having my account cancelled by them

Speeds have picked up a bit now to 2.5mb, still way below what I have been getting especially at this time (wasn't even 2.5mb AT peak times), it's normally uncongested and at full speed, I'd been very impressed with speeds up until today.

I'll see what tomorow and the next few days are like before deciding if this is the start of any problems.

Yes same problem in Wales last night speeds a lot lower than usual.
Speeds back to normal this morning.

Download Speed: 6838 kbps (854.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 380 kbps (47.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Speeds do seem to have normalised when I did a test earlier. Seems it was a network wide problem than any local congestion?

Going to wait and see what they're like this evening before jumping for joy, wont be a happy bunny if it wont stream a 700kb/s feed again!

Ill not bother to get excited anyway, they were meant to disconnect me last Thursday.
