getting shot of orange/no mac code

help.......... finally got shot of orange.. spoke to big wig who waived cancellation fee then put me through to get mac code(??) stupid t####r i was put through to put it through as cancellation so no mac code.......was told by orange will have to wait 10 working days for line to be cleared b4 signing up to new isp. can i set up new isp (madasafish??) so details to kick in as soon as orange turns line off can't afford to offline for days on end

You cannot place an order with a new ISP until the Orange marker has been removed from your line.

have just been on the phone to madasafish and they have confirmed nouwt can be done till orange clears the line,why do orange have to be so awkward?

That's just how the provisioning system works. You can't very well be connected to two DSLAM ports at the same time. so the order systems make sure no orders go though for that to happen.
