Internet explorer / Outlook

Help. I've recently switched to the Orange 2mb service from madasafish. I have a Netgear wireless modem / router but couldn't get it to work with Orange so I installed the Thompson USB modem software on my main PC and got it working fine. I then got the Netgear working and can get internet and mail fine wirelessly on my laptop. However I cannot get internet to work on my main PC now using the ethernet cable connection.
Has the Orange installation software altered my LAN settings?
Help please?????

That should do it.

Might also want to set IE to "never dial a connection" in internet options.
