Orange/EE terrible latency in WoW

Spending the weekend at my parents place that use Orange/EE ADSL, The connection speeds seem reasonable and websites load fine but i can barely even connect to any wow servers and if i do get in game my ping is in the thousands.

Any ideas?

What's your ping to a common site like bbc.co.uk ?

What's the game server?
