EE 1.6Gb Speedtest

Just got my new 2.5Gb ONT today and sharing a speedtest if anyone is interested. Using my own router as the supplied one doesn't have 2.5Gb LAN

Download seems good but it makes the upload seem even worse in comparison

I've ordered the 1.6G service under a different email address and the system has (for now) accepted the order and set a date for the engineer to come to the house.

I guess it may be cancelled beforehand, or the guy may actually fit a 2.5G ONT!

How does it do with single threads?

Shame the upload is so low. I do better than that with my FTTP1000 service from another provider.

Just ordered 1.6Gb, moving from BT (within contract for no cancellation fees), grabbed the black friday deal £69.99 with 3 months free, on top of that EE reduced my mobile bill by £20 and given me Netflix basic for free saving me £7.99 on the Netflix premium package.
In total £27.99 a month saving not including the 3 months free for increase to 1.6Gb speed.
Just waiting for Cityfibre 2.5Gb to activate in my area so I can upgrade that also (as long as ISP does it also).

Well not very high but more than I was expecting from FTTP.

Is the ping not dictated by location? Different test servers can give my FTTP different pings depending on location.

The destination server is Dublin for some reason, which will account for the ping.
