ADSL Max -- how long does it take?

I applied to Orange 4 days ago for an upgrade from their 2 Meg fixed service to ADSL Max and received an email within hours informing me that "they are on the case" and that everything should be completed within 10 working days. So far, nothing seems to have happened.... my router has not dropped the line since and both my up and down speeds are still as they were.
Perhaps I'm being somewhat impatient (well, yes, I know I am) but I'd have thought something might have started happening by now but up to this time, zilch.

Can anyone remember how long it took for their Max service to be initiated?

Hi - mine took 8 days, ordered last Sunday activated today. No confirmation email, I rang to chase them up on Saturday and they said it had gone through and activated Monday.
