Orange blocking access to Ryanair.com?

Hi

I have been trying to connect to the Ryanair website www.ryanair.com for the last two days from my Orange account with no joy. Pinging the address works ok but no access via browser. I have done all the usual things (deleted cookies & temp internet files, logged again to get a new IP address) but no joy. Today I tried using another ISP's DNS server address in my connection and now connecting OK. Go back to Orange's DNS servers and page timing out.

Can anyone else please test this for me before I take it up with Orange?

Not working for me either. I know they had problems with the site a week or so back with the website unable to cope with demand for the free flight offers......not anything to do with that?

Can people on other ISP's access it?

I can connect to it but only if I use another ISP's DNS server.

It has nothing to do with the free flight congestion problems.

I've just tried it and can connect to it okay.

Still not working for me via Orange's DNS servers.

Not sure if this will help you but thought I would mention it just in case. Recently we found that we couldn't get various websites that we had previously been able to, and someone on here suggested changing the MTU setting on our router to 1492. I did that and found that I could then get all the websites again. I don't know if the setting had accidently been changed recently, or whether it was something to do with the upgrade that Orange was supposed to have done on our line on 4 May, but all is okay now.

How would that explain being able to connect using the same router but another ISP's DNS server?
