The BT engineer was mainly right, except the slow speeds arnt actually a fault.

It's caused by a traffic jam at the Orange end ( same like a road, if its busy you get traffic jams and slow speeds ).

If you had tested your speed at 2am during a week night, you would of found you had 3mb as per the estimate by the BT engineer.

You need to call Orange and ask them to reset your bras profile, let it settle down for 2 weeks and then do a speed test at 2am.


It's a fixed 2M product as indicated by the upstream sync.
