Connection keeps dropping

Broadband connection keeps dropping which is really annoying, it's even more annoying if you are making a second line phone call at the time.
All wiring has been checked and filters. There is no specific time for the problem it just happens several times per day for no apparent reason.
Any ideas or help would be great.

Hi, it might be the Orange Live Box failing, have you tried a different router?

No, havn't tried that.

Two possibilities: what's your speed? Second line (VOIP) will have problems if your speed is around 2 Mbps, or up to 4Mpbs if the PC is in use at the same time say for large file downloads, streaming or gaming. I got a new livebox (it will be secondhand) within 2 working days when mine was failing by e-mailing through their website but you must mention that you have and need to continue second line, which is no longer part of their offer, and only available through the livebox, not their newer routers. You then need to contact them once it is set up to have the router MAC activated for VOIP on the Orange servers, and should have the same phone number (takes up to 2 days with the router connected to become effective).
