Re: So what now??

Are you ever "out of contract"? You are confused! It's a 12-month minimum term contract. As long as they are providing you with services and you are paying them a contract exists.
Sky Talk: 12 month minimum term applies to new Sky Talk customers and to existing customers taking up Sky Talk Line Rental. Sky Talk is only available to customers paying by Direct Debit/continuous card mandate. Calls packages not available to BT line rental customers with BT Basic or if outgoing calls are barred. Sky compatible BT line required for Sky Talk line rental. Codes of Practice can be found at sky.com/skytalk. Calls to Sky 0844 numbers are free for Sky Talk Freetime customers and inclusive for Sky Talk Unlimited customers at all times. Calls to 0844 numbers cost 5.11p per minute plus 12.5p connection for BT customers.

Lol yes you are right - I'm confused by my many grievances during my time with sky. smile

You can be out of contract with Sky - most of their offers involve you signing up to, as a new customer or renewing as an existing customer, a 12 month contract. When you are out of 12 month contract, then you are considered not under contract and can leave at anytime. eg Sky BB unlimited is £7.50pm if you are under 12 month contract - after that it doubles to £15 even if you are still paying for Sky TV!

For calling Sky on the 0844 number, like you said, if you are on Talk freetime its only free off peak - which looking on their website now, is much clearer than it was at one time! Its also of little use, when you have a fault and need to call them during peak time. frown

You obviously don't know the meaning of the word "Contract"!
