if the router reports severely errored seconds just look at that and ignore errored seconds.

you are not going to get 0 errored seconds on dsl unless you have a very high noise margin well into double figures probably.

also its normal for errored seconds to slow down after higher uptime because bitswapping will disable problematic tones.
