PAYG Service Unavailable ?

[link to this post]

I've tried several times over the last few days to obtain a balance on my PAYG Orange Mobile. Usually a simple operation, but the system keeps coming back with the message: "The Pay as you go service you requested is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

Does this really mean "unavailable" or is it "no longer available"?

I have the same problem. The solution is to call 453. This is a free number and your remaining credit will be read out to you.

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But, ah, my foes, and, oh, my friends
It gives a lovely light.

Also FREE from your mobile, dial 150 and inform them of your problem.

Have you registered your mobile phone for an online Pay as You Go account? You can then access your account from your computer and with the provided apps from your mobile phone. wink

No. I'm happy just to use the phone's Orange Plus features - if and when they work. frown
Anyway, thanks for the thought.
