Orange Bright Box IGMP Broadcast

Can anybody shed any light on why my Bright Box router is sending an IGMP multicast package on my network every 2 minutes & what can be done about it? My PC firewall is blocking each incoming attempt from the router IP address to local IP 224.0.0.1.

This is apparently to technical a question to email Orange (EE) customer services about and the telephone support, from what I understand (when I can understand what is being said!) have never come across anything like this before!

Looks like I'm on my own!!

How do you recognise these IGMP multicast packages? I see nothing about them in my PC firewall.

If I check my firewall log I get the following entry every 2 mins:

Not sure if actually causing any problems but seems a little unnecessary & may be indicative of a bigger problem. Thanks for any help.

Suggest seeing what router features are enabled like UPnP or QoS and disabling.

Tried that & disabled such things as WMM but short of going through them all, couldn't find anything. Thought I'd try to speed things up by asking on here but may have to go back to working my way through all the options!!

As I say, never seen then & I run a PC firewall, Zonealarm. What's yours?
