EE IP address range

Having got no joy from the EE 'helpdesk', I'm hoping someone may know where I can find the IP address range EE leases to its broadband subscribers?

To clarify - this isn't the internal DHCP range from a subscriber router (192.168.1.20 - 255), it's the IP range a subscriber's traffic could hit our server with.

I would expect they have various ranges, but why do you want to know ?

Yes - I'd seen that site but was hoping for a nicely bundled set of address ranges. No such luck, of course!

We want to lock access to our server on particular accounts on specific ranges.

might be worth an email or pm to the staff here as the speed tester etc recognises ISP by address block.

We probably would not release the block information, some of it is hard won and some of it through just finding out by looking at data which blocks are with which ISP.

To be honest, if restricting access to the range of Orange IP blocks is part of a security system I would be wary of doing that as it may give a false sense of security. Restriction to a single static IP address is better, but still not fool proof either.

Why are you specifically interested in EE's IPs? If it is for some nefarious activity, I don't see that we should help you, a complete stranger, with it.

Have you had a look at this

Click on Data and Tools and type the IP address into the box, this then gives the range for that IP and the company it is associated with.

then as suggested find out the 'block' allocated that has this using one of the web reverse lookup tools and ripe

You will probably want to build the list over time if your 'users' are on the EE dynamic address lists.
