EyePet

[link to this post]

Okay call me nuts, but bought it and its actually quite entertaining, it has the simple addictiveness of seeing what you can do and actually works pretty well.

Tracking of the card is pretty good , even when in a room with just three energy saver bulbs

Your Nuts................Lol

I have to say i was tempted but thought it would turn out to be a novelty buy and it would get wasted, having said that if i had children i would have got the game day 1 for sure.

I remember buying the playstation eye and basically apart from downloading the odd game for it i never use it and its another purchase in my case that was not needed.

I dont even use it for little big planet and the games that support it,to be honest i just can not be bothered with it.

The actual software for this playstation camera[eye] whatever has failed to impress quite honestly.

Its the first impressive thing I've seen, where the online demos are similar to home experience.

Shows the potential that is there for tracking movement, including depth perception

the eyepet+camera bundle is the same price as just the camera i think, tempting especially as the camera is needed for sonys motion tracking and gt5 using the camera for head tracking

Not very tempting to me then as i have had the camera already for about 2 years and never used it,actually it came with that weird board type game that got put up in the loft somewhere in a dark corner never to see the light of day again.
