By the way i hated the original as it was a spawn killing frenzy,funny how all pre/orders tend to ship with this map as a bonus.................Not what i would have picked because every time i connected to that map i was gone like a shot.

Nice to see them using the same content over and over, but it is cod.

Yeah they do milk it but i can not see many FPS that actually match what they do in terms of 60fps action and some really nice set pieces.

Will have to see about the 60fps to maintain that you have to make alot of changes/cuts elsewhere due to the hardware limitations, will find out in the reviews.

Console fps is usually between 30-to just over 50fps, to get more you will need better hardware, you will find alot of the set pieces will drop fps but then you are on rail game for the set pieces so just have to sit back and watch the next michael bay explosion scene.

No on a series note Spook i doubt there will be much of a massive leap in the graphics department being that they are using the same engine for the past 7 years .

As long as it plays pretty decent thats all i care about.......Desperate for some decent FPS Action as i am not playing that Kiddie game Battlefield

Anyway anybody got 100s of hours to spare and a lot of patience should check out Assasins Creed,its a well made nice looking game and has some very nice moments but it may be a little to much for my liking and i much prefer a UZI 9mm than a tomahawk and Bow and Arrow.

I can see this game taking me about 100 hours to complete and come next Tuesday and the next few weeks it will be taking a back seat for sure.

AC3 has me interested then. I like games with plenty to 'em. Plenty of longevity. I'm back on Skyrim actually. I'm terrible like that. And I have loads of other games yet to properly play.

That's another game I'd probably enjoy playing. LotR: Witch King. Empire magazine has a really cool Gollum hologram thing on the front cover this month as a Hobbit feature. I don't buy the mag but it was tempting, even at £4.99. Ouch.

Can't see any stars at all in london tonight mate. That's one good thing about living in the sticks. Only stars I see are the ones in Skyrim. There's a nice milkyway galaxy mod too.

The stairlift has given him back the freedom to satisfy his other call of duty. No downstairs loo you see. Hard work at his age, but it's a far cry from the man nappy option he is used to.

It was one of the best maps for four player private matches, a real blast.

I only play skirmish in LotR: Witch King.
I've set it up so that I always win. I set up against a few enemys, built a wall to keep them out and more likely to fight each other while I build an army of archers then match out into the world and destroy them all.
No challenge but I keep going back to it


Shame you can't get Skyrim mods for the ps3

Yeah, no mods for consoles. That's one of the sweet things about gaming on the PC. Though we do go through more pain with things crashing on us half the time etc.

Steam has some great Skyrim mods and they are very easy to install and manage. There are loads of useful things and various tweaks. Plus Bethesda were kind enough to make an enhanced textures pack and let us have that. Don't really notice the difference but it's looking really good so something must be right.

I've got horse whistle mod so I can get a lift when I need it. And all my followers have horses too (all 5 of them). We look like some posse. All the women are scantily clad of course, thanks to another mod. Haha. I will probably let them wear their armour when the time comes for some serious fighting.

Hehe. Too true. Armour is very cumbersome.
