AC3 has me interested then. I like games with plenty to 'em. Plenty of longevity. I'm back on Skyrim actually. I'm terrible like that. And I have loads of other games yet to properly play.

That's another game I'd probably enjoy playing. LotR: Witch King. Empire magazine has a really cool Gollum hologram thing on the front cover this month as a Hobbit feature. I don't buy the mag but it was tempting, even at £4.99. Ouch.

Can't see any stars at all in london tonight mate. That's one good thing about living in the sticks. Only stars I see are the ones in Skyrim. There's a nice milkyway galaxy mod too.

What was that? Did I hear the croaking of some old timer codger on his way up the stairs to bed? Creaking as he goes...

The stairlift has given him back the freedom to satisfy his other call of duty. No downstairs loo you see. Hard work at his age, but it's a far cry from the man nappy option he is used to.

It was one of the best maps for four player private matches, a real blast.

I only play skirmish in LotR: Witch King.
I've set it up so that I always win. I set up against a few enemys, built a wall to keep them out and more likely to fight each other while I build an army of archers then match out into the world and destroy them all.
No challenge but I keep going back to it


Shame you can't get Skyrim mods for the ps3

Yeah, no mods for consoles. That's one of the sweet things about gaming on the PC. Though we do go through more pain with things crashing on us half the time etc.

Steam has some great Skyrim mods and they are very easy to install and manage. There are loads of useful things and various tweaks. Plus Bethesda were kind enough to make an enhanced textures pack and let us have that. Don't really notice the difference but it's looking really good so something must be right.

I've got horse whistle mod so I can get a lift when I need it. And all my followers have horses too (all 5 of them). We look like some posse. All the women are scantily clad of course, thanks to another mod. Haha. I will probably let them wear their armour when the time comes for some serious fighting.
