The other night a couple of my American mates were gifted $99 and $50 million by some hacker on the server. Happened just after I had left
Not to worry, last might I was playing and killed someone who then gave me $69 million.
The garage in my new apartment has some lovely cars in now

Haha no way that's a lot of cash! I haven't played it since getting my Xbox One and I doubt I will go back to it to be honest. Maybe if they bring it out on next gen I will get it again. I was hoping they would add the multiplayer heists in but I am starting to think that was never going to happen!

A great game on the PS3 is better than an ok one on next gen
|
|
|
So, no threats of violence were needed then ? No knee-capping, or finger breaking ?
Takes all the fun out of extorting money

Very true Swanny but I don't class GTA5 as a great game,a very good game yes if a little frustrating at times......A great game then that title goes to The Last Of Us

Nothing like that, we just had a little battle and in the last exchange of lead we both died. Next thing I know it told me I was rich

Wow. If only that kind of thing happened in the real world. Oh, hang on. Still no re-spawning is there?

Woa! That is some luck
I am still having a blast playing through the story haven't tried online yet.

Timey you living in a dream world! GTA5 was a better game than the Last Of Us. The Last of Us was a good game, but it wasn't an amazing game.

Both are absolutely amazing games but they are VERY different I think I would find it difficult to pick a favourite.

Thats hard to imagine considering how much I am enjoying playing the story

You're in for a pleasant surprise then

Horses for courses I guess. I loved TLOU and I mean really enjoyed it. Games like that are better described as experiences and that's what a campaign is all about to me.
As for GTAV, I love that too, but not for it's ability to move me or make me think about what I'm doing. Just because it has made me world famous for dicking around! I'm sure the story is good fun, but I'm not big on campaigns in open worlds. I always seem to get waylaid whilst getting to where I'm supposed to be going, so after I reached Michael, I just cut out the middle man and started dicking around all of the time, lol!
But the difference is as "Band of Brothers" to "Dad's Army". They're not supposed to compare.

Soon as I finish the story mode I will be online and try and make me some moneys

That's a good way of putting it. The best games are experiences and you don't forget them in a hurry.

I still keep getting the urge to play it, but what with the PS4 I doubt realistically whether I will now, and a pal has offered to buy it from me. I will miss the social club pics and stuff though.
If it releases next gen. (or more likely as a persistent online affair) my family may well think I have been kidnapped.
