is ps4/xbox1 only
do I have to buy one now?

Cool, may get this on XB1. I was disappointed with the last FF I played on Xbox 360 though. For me the only ones I have enjoyed were 7 to 10, everything after that just didn't hold my interest. Nothing has come close to the GF & Junctioning system of FF8, that was a brilliant game mechanic.
I will keep an eye on this though, March is a good time for it come out as there will probably be a gaming drought on so chances are this could fill a gap for me for a month or so. I am intrigued by the half action half RPG element

Never really cared for them to be honest,I hate walking 10 paces and then have to fight and rinse and repeat over and over again.
Automated fight sequences my pet Hate.....
Saying that I enjoyed a few of them briefly on the Playstation 1 .

Be good to catch up with you online one day again my friend,I just wish you had a playstation 4 and The last of us online ,you would absolutely adore this game mate playing with your son and myself and Nelly .....

I am tempted to go back and try the last of us online on the PS3 as I still have it. I really didnt think much of the single player game though, it was a good game, but a bit too repetitive and not as exciting as I hoped it would be. Another game that got LOADS of hype but didn't really deliver what I hoped it would

Strange your one of the very few who think that ?,game was outstanding and it got first class reviews from the majority of the gaming sites.

ff13 trilogy coming to pc which is awesome news, type 0 i think will never come to 360/ps3 so I hope that eventually comes to pc also.

I'm one of the few too
I thought it was ok until I got stuck then I thought it wasn't
That was the opening credits wasn't it
So you gave up just because you got stuck, tell you now Swanny its one of the greatest online tactical games you would have ever played and you have really missed a masterclass of online team play.
I remember a few of your posts about short game length of some FPS games, I downloaded a FFX story video of youtube, the video just has the cutscenes and boss fight highlights (not full length fights) and surprisingly the video was over 11 hours long. That gives you the idea of how much gameplay you get in jrpg's, the cutscenes and boss fights alone are longer than full games of other genres.

So you gave up just because you got stuck
I lost count of the number of times I tried to get past that bit. In the end it just [censored] me off so I gave up
All my mates are on ps4's now so online probably wouldn't be that good for me
Then buy a Playstation 4 you know it makes sense, especially if all your mates have them.
Did you get rid of it Swanny or do you want to sell it back to me? I will keep it for the PS3 for my eldest to play. I only bought the remastered ps4 version to play online, but I've been replaying the single player before moving on to the Left Behind DLC that was included. I can't remember the last time I replayed a game. We played a guy online last night and he said "I've only just bought this, have you tried the single player yet? It almost made me cry in the first 10 minutes." And that coming from a northerner (double 'ard [censored]).
As an all in experience (fighting/shooting/looting/survival) it is by far the best story game I have ever played. The gaming press have their moments, but this is an undisputed master class in game design. That said, it will never be everyones bag of course.

I've still got it. I never trade games I just keep them :/
I might have one more try and if I can't get passed you can have it if you like

The trick is Swanny (if you're stuck where I think you are) to make sure you put all your resources into shivs. Throw a brick/bottle to draw the clicker into where you can shiv him without attracting the other clickers. With the runners just strangle them and don't waste a shiv, but again throw a brick/bottle to move the clickers away, then they don't clock you taking out the runner.
It's only the clickers that require any serious stealth tactics Once you get the hang of that the gameplay becomes a great mix of action and combat.

You drop down to a floor and there are a few of them there. I almost did it a couple of times

I'm waiting for the price drop

Well I would never have guessed,I never thought for 1 minute that you were a tight arsed [censored]...

It's not as if I've missed anything. The whole next gen thing has been a big let down so far
I don't see any point paying £350 when I can wait a few more months and save myself £50+

Kind of a true statement, its not been the greatest time to own a next generation console with lacklustre software and nothing that we can call mind blowing..
I traded the Hyped to death Destiny, actually thought it looked very nice but what a boring chore of a game.
I'm really quite enjoying Destiny but to be fair I'm the kind that plays a game for an hour or two then not game for a couple of days so it's repetitive nature isn't so much of an issue!!
The thing I have found with having a mainly digital catalogue on my Xbone is the hdd is already full!! The good thing though is that I've hooked up a 500gb externall hdd and it's using that now too all very seamless too
