I really should get rid of my 360, it'll never get used if all we have to work with are controllers.

I remember back in the late 90's when MS started talking about the future of gaming being closed box hardware, a PC you couldn't upgrade, do anything with. I thought then it was a ridiculous idea. I still do.

I still think they could vastly improve the present controllers if they really wanted to, some sort of 2 glove system, left for a set of keys, right for a track mouse of some sort, so you can still lard out on the sofa. Heck, they did it in 1989 with the Power Glove controller with the tech back then (although it didn't do much!). I guess they won't unless they come as standard with the system, maybe the next gen of consoles will perfect something.

You won't get consoles embracing keyboard and mouse any time soon because they can't turn a buck off a keyboard and mouse when theres an entire market of gaming grade stuff run by some serious players (logitech, microsoft, razer, saitek, etc) with top notch quality and a ton of features and regular grade stuff from as much as £1 for a keyboard.

They won't go down that route because they'd miss out on charging £30-40 on a controller.

/Psst... Over here, there IS a way to escape the dreaded Consolers - it's called "Steam"..!!

Keyboard and mouse, better hardware = smoother frame rate, simpler network structure (consoles go through networks with added security to prevent various things happening to protect the consoles integrity) means better latency, etc.

Nah shadowRUN, its based of some book series or DnD type game or something, i believe it had a SNES predecessor or something, they turned it into TF2 style game where you picked a race then a class and different races had different abilities and different classes have different abilities so you mixed and match or something. Didn't get my interest at all, all i know is i tried the demo on 360 and on PC and on PC they slowed the aiming down and did a few other daft tweaks.

If you are lucky you might get a review out of it .

I can give you a starting point - i'm concerned about length ;O i suspect i'll be spending more time driving myself insane earning potatos during this ARG thing. IF there is any truth to this 15th rumour for whatever it is i suspect its linked to the potatoes and getting potatos on your steam profile, these require you to do some mad skills in the games featured in the pack, i've got 2-3 so far, i suspect however though that it'll require all 13 games, in which case i'm SOL cause i don't own all 13 games, i passed on some of them for various reasons. But still, i'll get the potatos on the ones i own.
