Steam....Can not watch videos ?

Sometimes i just hate everything PC related,installed Steam to check out whats on there and decided to look at a few video clips only to be confronted with you need the latest flash player................Done all that about half a dozen times and still its telling me i need the latest flash player.

I have downloaded the stuff from adobe and still i am starring at thin air ?

Anyone have any suggestions as to why this is.

I seem to remember it wanting flash updating for a specific browser(IE?) for it to work. Or maybe I had to use IE to then be able to get flash for other browsers as chrome didn't seem to like me doing it.

Sorry, not much help I guess but it was months ago when I had to sort it! and my brain doesn't remember these things!

Restart Steam and close IE if you have it open.
