Don't know why so many Knock MW games because in my opinion they are everything i look for in a FPS minus the hackers ?

I used to like that style of FPS
But now I'm more matured I prefer having to think about what I'm doing instead of constant spawn die spawn die

Spawn killing has always been a issue regardless of what fps you play,its right what you say regarding spawn then die and repeat over and over but that is just bad development and a little thought could put this right.

I love everything that is decent regarding FPS and i for one will buy both,having said that and only seen limited amount of Online play of Battlefield 3 even though its suppose Alpha code it does not grip me like the awesome single player footage from a few months back.

Have yet to see anything regarding MW3 so i may or may not have similar thoughts about this game,only other bit of game play i have seen apart from Single player is survival which is very much like spec ops and the idiot playing it was rubbish.

Actually i think it was Ricky Gervais so that about sums it up and he was a guest on some stage show with that Bowling[402] guy from the few left from Infinity Ward

I think it was Simon Pegg mate, and yes he was bl**dy useless. A waste of a good opportunity to see the thing in action.

Your right mate it was.,don't think he ever played a game in his life and not a good representative to have playing your game.

It's not so much spawn killing, it's just more you spawn then you're dead because the maps are too small

No, but if you say no - it's generally got to go to the bargain bucket. I'm just glad that I don't pay console prices for games.

Steam prices can suck so, I may start buying the games on CD/DVD and putting the serials into Steam - it may be an option? Naaar.

Its like most games to be honest Guesty,we see the first footage and we all say WOW then later when the months roll by we see console versions and it don't look so good,then we are told that the console version run at 30fps and we get a little more disillusioned.

Then we see a few not so good videos of multi player and the worry starts to creep in even more...............Not saying the game looks bad and i am sure that i will be buying it but like most games i doubt it will live up to the high expectations we were expecting when we all for the first time saw that awesome single player footage on a high spec PC................

A solid 30 fps will be fine mate. Or should be. Trouble is you want that to be the lowest frame rate you get.

So I don't know anything about the issues involved but from my limited tech knowledge it means in the trade off for those missing 30 fps that you'd have if it were 60 frames per second, you'll have some graphical goodness and maybe a fair bit of destructability in the process. This should hopefully wring every last bit out of your console. Nothing to be sad about (unless your frame rate becomes unplayable of course!)

Knowing you, if Battlefield 3 turns out to be faithful to other Battlefield games in the series we will all be happy but you won't! You never liked them much anyway did ya so if, as it seems (from my last bit of moaning above), it turns out like COD MW then chances are higher you'll be at least a little bit happy depending on what DICE finally cook up for us hungry FPSers.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're not satisfied to be honest. That said, you should get some mileage out of this title in single player at least. But judging that last map I wouldn't say the multiplayer was going to do it for you (or me for that fact). It looks like DICE are watering down the BF formula to appeal more to the COD fans and in so doing won't fully satisfy them unless it becomes a total clone. And if they achieved that it'd be a VERY sad day indeed for us Battlefield vets.
