The game looks really good thus far except for the heavy emphasis on melee attacks though I personally enjoyed the baseball bat from that vid. It had the (stress relieving) right
feel to it, don't you agree?
Yeah, with that many flippin' zombies running around all trying to grope you and bite off body parts, a few more guns (with fire damage maybe!) would be nice. I also prefer firearms, especially against enemies who cling to you and slow you down when close up. It's like "ugh! get away from me, zombie beast!"
I think from what I've read and seen, with zombies, you need more than one player so someone can distract them whilst the other takes them down. Especially so if you're relying on melee weapons as the last thing you want is them climbing all over you.
That's what you want from a gaming headset, innit? Great sound quality (with the ability to boost subtle footsteps and voice over explosions and gunfire) coupled with comfort and ease (and adaptability) of use. I can see why you're not keen on more cables with that Kef sound system in place.
Provided the mic can sit out of the way without becoming a permanent distraction (and no one is watching you play your games and filming ya) then a big daft mic shouldn't be too much of a problem. Hopefully it will be as good as the marketing blurb claims and its size will be an indicator of quality, even if its just one for robustness.
Well, we of the forum will keep a beady eye out for your initial thoughts review on the Turtle Beach PX5 headphones then. Gotta say I am looking forward to you receiving them.
