Well, I know the history of it. Gearbox did very little. They just added a bit of spit and polish, which may be hard to spot admittedly. No argument from me over its quality though.

Nuff said mate as it matters not who developed the game as we both know that the finished article was not fit to grace even the bargain bins of a game store.

What gets me in this day and age is the fact that developers should know that if they release a sub standard product then its going to get ripped to shreds by reviewers and game sites alike and have some serious impact on game sales.

This game sank quicker than the Titanic and the people who made it should go do something else and stop trying to rip us of with a game that would have been more suited to a Playstation 1 never mind what we have today.

Everytime i think about it i kind of get really annoyed as its a game that i new in my own mind would be trash but still got duped by the hype and went out and bought it.

The review enbargo certainly helped the developers as many including myself got well and truly fleeced...................Actually its probably the quickest trade in i have ever done in my life,after standing just 15 minutes playing it i could not stand the thought of this game in my collection and made a swift exit to Blockbusters to flush it down the toilet

I think anyone who followed it with even a passing interest knew it was likely to be terrible. I guess they're looking to play the long game, get it out the door and hope by the time the next one comes out people have forgotten about it. May well backfire.

I just hope and Prey that Dead Island,MW3 ,Battlefield,Resistance3,Gear of War 3 and a fair few other on my shopping list live up to the high expectations and hype that they are getting.....................

I hope you've learned your lesson and will now wait for reviews from real people before buying the latest games

I don't need to wait for reviews of games Swanny realistically as i have already said i new it would be pants but went ahead and took a chance.

You know yourself at sometime in the past the same has happened to us all,are you going to wait for a Battlefield review before you buy it................I doubt it ?

Yea I've done it myself in the past many times but nowadays I wait. BF3 will be the exception though. Everything else I wait and see what people say before buying it

You make a good point but generally before a game is released i do a lot of research like reading previews and stuff,but with Duke Puke em Forever i kind of went with the game must have something going for it type of feeling..........Sadly this was not the case and its probably one of the worst games i have ever bought in my gaming life and i have had a few stinkers in the past.

Games like MW3 and Battlefields i will buy regardless of negativity as i know that even the haters of these games will score them around 7/10,i expect top scores for both games and a solid Metacritic score.

My next couple of buys will be Dead Island [Kind of worried] that this does not meet expectations but i'm hoping its better than the previous Techland developed Call Of Juarez the cartel game that bombed,also tempted to get Resistance 3 on the Playstation 3 even though i thought the first 2 games were average at best.

What do you do with the games you don't want?? Trade in prices are rubbish maybe you could sell them to people here ?
