Rage for PC... should I get it?

It's on pre-order now from Steam... I can't find any demo apart from a few publicity vids.

Assuming (as you may) that I love FPSs - should I invest?

I think it looks like a great game. I will pick it up but probably next year when it's on sale. But only because I won't have time to play all the titles I want. If I did have time, Rage would definitely be one of them.

Prolly cheaper to buy retail, the game is steamworks enabled so you can buy retail and activate on steam.

Yes, sales aside, it's usually cheaper to get Steam games elsewhere. Besides, what's the rush? Wait till it's out and see what other people think of it.

Not a game on my agenda to be honest as the guns and sound of the guns just don't do it for me,but if it gets outstanding reviews and people on here rave about it then i might give it a little more credit it deserves.
