Yup. Gotta agree with your deduction there. Probably the PC version though much of it is pre-rendered, likely just for 'promotional' purposes (ie, make it look as good as possible whilst not actually being reflective of the 3D game graphics).

Saying that, some tasty graphics on the MW3 trailer linked by T2D in the other thread and that was on an Xbox 360. Activision and EA's marketing departments are no doubt masters of propaganda. Let the real battle begin: ownership and control of our wallets!

Oh yeah, another trailer: BF3 Launch Trailer. It shows a little more in-game action and at 1080p, it looks sweet.

Yeah there is much Pre/rendered stuff in there Spook Granted but it made good television and i thought it was a top class advertisement to sell there product.

Anyway found this First online Battlefield 3 Review 9.5

Here is Ign.com PC REVIEW They love the multiplayer but not so much the single player which is something i did not want to hear,but lets face it Battlefield 3 will be bought for Multiplayer only basically.

Essentially, Battlefield 3 is an amazing game. It has a great single player experience mixed with a perfect online multiplayer experience. People have been wondering if Battlefield 3 was rushed to beat the release date for Modern Warfare 3 but this is a complete game and could end up setting a new standard for graphics on the consoles.

The Good: Amazing graphics, great single player, even better multiplayer.

The Bad: Rare low-res textures, nothing groundbreaking (but it’s still extremely fun and polished)

Score: 9.5/10

Gotta say, that doesn't sound too bad. Pretty positive thumbs up save for the fact the game isn't quite ground breaking but then, what game is these days?
