There is allot of talk on this thread , about waiting for the title to become cheaper or pre owned but history dictates that a COD title will hold its price and only really become cheap a few months before the next annual realise is about to come out .

I love it. All I played last night was survival mode, (solo and online) and thought it was great fun.

I haven't played black ops in 3 months nearly, but there was no settling in period needed with the controls. Just a shame it's only 2 player. Maps are well thought out for twitch shooting as well.

Bad side, still getting lag even though I'm hosting a private game. That has to be poor net code. But since 2 or 3 days after release BF3 has been the same. At least I don't have to run a million miles after every lag kill to get back to the action. Not looking forward to going online proper though as it will be a proper lag fest. Got a couple of texts from my mates late last night fuming about the 30 -1 scores ruining most games again. It seems fast connections don't count for much with DICE or IW.

Survival is brilliant fun and so is the new Team based game Kill Confirmed.

I enjoyed the SP of both MW1 and MW2. Bits of MW2 single player were very reminiscent of Generation Kill* (no bad thing!).

And after reading your first initial post and impressions regarding Battlefield 3 im glad it passed me by.

MW3 is a really brilliant game and the game mode Kill Confirmed is one of the best online game modes i have played.

There is no revolutionary Engine here with the most amazing graphics you ever will see but you have a very addictive online FPS with many modes and one hell of a lot of fun.

Call it MW 2.5 or whatever and its 95% similar to previous MW games just like Battlefield 3 and every other game that comes on to the market.

I dont see people coming on here complaining about Bioshock 2,Uncharted 3,Dead Space 2,Left for dead 2, and 100s of other sequels i could mention.

But people feel the need to have a go at Cod for whatever silly reason they can muster,we all agree it would be great with a new fancy engine but the game still plays really well and the graphics are very good but they have not advanced much from the last MW game.

The more i play it and Rank up and get some decent guns and perks and stuff the more i like it,because anyone that plays these games knows that basically the first few days when we are all noobs and people are on like Rank 40 within hours with ACR Assault guns and you have the basics.

People must play all day and all night and don't touch nothing but online multiplayer when i prefer to finish the single player game first,then as we all know some have had the game at least 2 or 3 days early so there is a lot of catching up to do.
