In reply to a post by orly:
there are cheats in all games.

Anyone silly enough to use aimbots and wallhacks in MW3 will get banned by VAC before too long. In general they were fairly rare in MW2. I don't expect it will be different in MW3.

Name hacks...not really worried. doesn't affect the game really.
Same for most rank hacks...they're just lame really.
valve anti cheat system will only work if the hacker is using a version of the game purchased from steam, but there are ways of circumvention with it,even after being banned
then you have the PCdvd retail version by far the most popular that uses the lame Punk buster anti cheat system Aim bot mw3 and there are there are other companies around too, these hacks are streamed to the client(cheaters pc) and are undetectable by punkbuster,

some companies are confident that they are always ahead of punkbuster that if your GUID get's banned whilst using their streamed hacks they will supply you with a new licence key for the game, with the only downside of having to change your name, This thing has been ongoing since cod4 it was rife then and will be again in mw3, hence why i won't go and buy it as im not a rich kid who can afford the monthly subs for the paid for hacks, as for the name hacks, don't really know, but i do remember in cod 4 we all decided to have the same name to confuse the hackers a little

MW2 had it, so MOAB it is now, nice it is not a total game ender. Used to annoy when it would happen.
