Why do some people pay WoW subscriptions?

Yes, there is an element of players that can't run BF3 so that is probably a relevant
reason for some.

I have BF3 for PC and can run it on high settings, but for some reason I enjoy playing (correction - did enjoy playing) BFP4F more. Its more about the gaming experience, playability, feel and community.

Fantastic graphics don't necessarily translate into a positive overall gaming experience.

No, but as I mentioned things like the lack of class change option in game actually detracts from the experience massively. I didn't find anything in P4F that I find missing from BF3 in terms of gameplay.

WoW is a different kettle of fish though, you pay to access the game, whilst here you pay to get ahead of the competition. Like said before, there are shooters where you don't need to buy weapons, just the game (+maps and addon packs).

Game is in Beta, why pay for things in game that could potentially be removed? Plus it's EA, the eula probably waived all rights that you normally have under a service type game, unless people actually try contesting the eula.

Just goes to show some people have more money than sense then and a company will always chase maximum profit

Yea WoW is completely different plus it's Beta like someone said. More fool them for paying good money for this carp
