Your best Xmas present for yourself?

I've not found one yet, still hunting around for a bargain. And of course completing as many of those Steam achievements as I can.

Not yet however in the next 3months it will be Sony HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer.

Haven't decided what I need yet. Don't think there is anything :/

One of them new glasses free 3d televisions developed by toshiba coming to a store near you in 2012.

Now your talking because 3d wearing glasses on top of glasses has never been my cup of tea.

Found out about them 6 months ago, selling or where working up to in Germany. The way it works not as god as the glasses way and the price, thousands of pounds, Wait for the next improved generation in a few years and then more realistic price and al good stuff. Guess you watched the gadget show on 5, was on there breafly last night and a mention of a new Xbox.

A got a panasonic 3d tv last December at the start of the month so now just gone over the year. £1600. Can get 3d tv for £600 now, ok not THX certified 600Hz plasma with HD freeview and freesat but still a lot less, like anything new it will drop in price.

Yeah i watched the gadget show on five last night and saw what was coming,not sure if i would be a early adapter but they certainly have more appeal than a 3d set that needs 3d glasses.

I am hoping both Sony and Microsoft bring out new consoles next year because its about time and these consoles now have to many restrictions and Battlefield 3 just confirmed it.

I doubt very much that both Microsoft and Sony would leave Nintendo to release there new Wii You and have nothing on offer so i expect some announcement at E3 in 2012.

Well since I haven't managed to find anything else, I got myself SC2. Best RTS experience I've had since RA2.

Actually I'm in the market for a new sound system for our Television as my Keff kit 100 5 years old is on the blink ...KIT 100

For some unknown reason when i try to power it on using the remote or the button on the receiver it wont work,the only way i can get it to come on is disconnecting the power lead [scart] at the back of the base station an mucking about with that.

I then get a static build up once powered on and i guess some relay is on the way out or something.

Unless you are a total audiophile, I think this set up sounds great. The only desirable upgrade I can foresee is a bigger pair of front and centre speakers for playing music. The sub with built in amp is really nice and properly rattles the windows on half power. For the money I am thoroughly impressed. Bose systems are awesome, but probably overly exhuberant (and costly) for my living room.
