The way UC3 is going at the moment, I think I'll be working through 1 and 2 next.

I'm surprised just how much I'm enjoying it, and I've never said that about a third person game before.

UC1 was great but I didn't rate UC2 at all. It was ok nothing more

But surely it was only the story that was different? Was it to similar or something? I'll start with UC1 next anyhow, and see where that leads me. Should be cheap if nothing else!

Both the first 2 games are excellent and are very similar as expected with 2 having slightly better graphics just like the latest edition.

If you like Uncharted 3 mate then you will love the first 2 instalments equally.

But i understand a little where swanny is coming from as his views and opinions is exactly the way i saw it with Bioshock, the first game was a breath of fresh air exciting and new and i was totally hooked, then a year or two passed and bioshock 2 came along and i felt the same as Swanny and Uncharted 2.

I think what happens is some games dont have that initial impact when they make follow ups, nobody had really had a bioshock before and it was fresh and surprised, but when they release a follow up that surprise and shock factor has all but vanished as you know exactly what your getting .

I mean when Uncharted came out it was everything Tomb raider should had been with some fresh ideas and amazing visuals and was a great rpg, obviously tomb raider came many years before so it was never going to look as good.
Sad thing is only a handful of developers seem to have the skill to unlock the potential of the playstation 3 because many games from other developers look total garbage.
