I could be wrong, but I believe many countries require words to be committed legally to become officially part of their language, whereas as here they don't. Which is great because we get some brilliant words adopted (like Japanocentrism!).

Maybe the gaming forum needs a Big Word Week where you only post if you have an appropriate (official or unofficial) big word to liven up your post?

Might relieve the boredom due to the lack of gaming stories around at the minute.
