Blacklight Retribution

This is FANTASTIC!!

Don't know where it came from, completely unannounced (to me!) but it's a great re-incarnation of those Deathmatch Arenas from the early 2000s that we all spent so much time playing.

This has great maps, fabulous graphics and really evocative and useful audio... and most important, great gameplay. And at the end of each round ('One Minute left...' ) , a great show-off Winner's line-up.

Give it a go, you'll love it!

Oh, sorry guys, it may be PC-only, but I don't keep up with Console-Schmonsole stuff, so you may also be in the loop (if you're lucky...lol)

I heard good things from the beta but upon release there have been plenty of people complaining that the prices have changed drastically to force people into spending more on the free game. Not surprising perhaps but it has still upset some...

Yes, I hadn't spotted that until tonight, to get a decent permanent loadout costs a fortune...
