Is that after you have done the housework ,cooked the dinner and done the washing and ironing
Oh contrare lesser mortal!
I have tried and trusted techniques to avoid such chores, but timing is crucial. Shortly after she leaves the house, I will text her asking what time she expects to be home as I have received a call out. I then pop out to get a coffee shortly before her ETA and return half an hour later in my work apparel.
The favourite tip however, is spraying water on dried up morning dog sick in the hallway, a few minutes prior to her return from work. On hearing her disappointed tone on discovery, I bowl down the stairs with statements like "It wasn't there a moment ago" or "I'll grab your bags while you clean your shoe."
