Yeah, I noticed that too. Rubbish shooter but not a bad driver.

I don't think he was particularly bad. And he was probably playing with a controller. And it's campaign, not MP. And you do want to see some of the scenery instead of flashing around dementedly with a mouse. And I suspect ccxo wears camo face paint when he plays.

So will I. It does look like an awesome campaign which is important because MP will suck badly for me like all the rest.

And the attempt at a campaign mode on BF3, was at times lack lustre and at others, dire. This looks altogether like a much better attempt.

It looks way better than Battlefield 3 mate and i do have that edition with all the map packs still in its wrapper,guess i should give it another go at some stage.

And like mrnelster says the single player game looks like this time around its going to be well decent unless they have glossed it up again.

The single player in Battlefield 3 was very poor and a complete waste of space,but most will say Battlefield is about multiplayer and thats where it shined a very bright star,in Swannys case the SUN.

Actually you would have thought it was one of the play testers or developers

I don't recall them been useless though.

Hey! Have you been spying on me?

I hadn't played BF3 in a long time and as you know, I play on a PC and have most of the goodness turned up full. I'm telling you there isn't a noticeably massive difference in meaningful graphics quality. Don't forget (as I recall) you didn't initially install the extra textures on your Xbox.

But BF4 does look look very nice I agree and the lighting and level of detail is pretty breathtaking. I was surprised that BF3 had so much detail after some of the games I've been playing recently. Maybe you should view some of the BF3 'pretending to be BF4' videos on Youtube that some nobheads have put up, to see for yourself?

Crikey, EA have just announced pre-order pricing and it ain't pretty.

Standard PC boxed/download edition is exactly the same as the Xbox 360 and PS3 at £44.99.

You can also pay an extra tenner for what they're calling a "Premium" Expansion Pack, beta access and bonus content if you've got a PC. £54.99. Well, I shall not pay more than £30 for the base game. £35 at a push but don't tell EA!

The games I buy from shopto.net come out at around 36-37 quid on average. I have been wondering what next gen games will cost and I expect an extra tenner across the board to be honest.

In other news, are you still saving for that PS4 mister? With your PC skills and my penchant for mischief, we could prove conclusively whether or not Lt_Swan still wears those Star Trek jim jams?

My money's on those jim jams being red! I bet Lt Swan's fave character is Scotty. Beam me up!
