Hopefully they will improve the quality of Bluetooth audio from the PS4 as the PS3 was pretty bad.

Like i said you don't use the cheap headsets bundled with consoles if you are really into games,if your investing in a £350 to £400 console and a load of games or at least a couple then another £100 is not really an issue for a decent headset.

I just Glad My Turtle Beach PX5 will work with the Playstation 4 and i have not got to go out and buy another one.

Not seen the so called headset bundled with the Playstation 4,but it does not matter as i would never use it,besides you hit the nail on the head with not many people talk anyway and trying to get a few mature adults together is nigh on impossible.

First thing i generally do when playing a online game is Mute everybody because all i here is [censored] and sreaming kids in the background and idiots playing music.

The vast majority of console users over the lifetime of the console will use whatever is bundled with it. I use a 5.1 surround sound system with mine but still use the bundled headset and I just don't see the point of spending money for a bit of voice comms that the standard one does just fine.

Again the Bluetooth audio is fine if you invest in a decent headset.

Roll on Pax because i want a confirmed release date and not the Playstation 4 will ship this year in Europe and everybody guessing when.

Im sticking my head out and saying end of October first week November to tie in with Battlefield 4 release and most the other new games.

Biggest surprise to me is GTA5 not on next generation and so close to the the console releases,I'm planning on dumping my Playstation 3 in a few months as i have no need once the playstation 4 surfaces.

Im hoping that The Last of us gets ported as i will miss not playing that game but thats about it.

Not true - the quality on PS3 is awful compared to the 360. I've got one of those 360 wireless headsets that does Bluetooth as well. Sounds fine on the 360, fine connected to both my wife's and my mobile and terrible connected to the PS3. Most people I've spoken to have said the same thing. Also tried a separate bluetooth headset - same thing.

That makes no sense. Audio quality out of the standard wired headset for the 360 is pretty good. Probably limited more by codec than anything else.

I am going to be extremely controversial here and agree with T2D on something.... I know, an historic moment in TBB forum history.

I use the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and it is great for just playing COD Zombies for instance and chatting to mates, but if I want to really really get into a game then a Turtle Beach is awesome! The sound quality, the bass and the surround sound all create an immersive experience that really allows you to get lost in the game!

A great example of this is Alan Wake, I used my housemates Turtle Beach headset for that and it was brilliant sitting there late at night with no lights on and just the spooky background noise and sounds of the game.

Now that is Controversial me getting a Brownie point from me old matey Jaxx.

I never had any audio problems using my PX5 on either the playstation 3 or 360.

Looks like they gotcha Time2die as the mere fact you have posted about it means traffic will be driven to the site.

As for the Xbox One I have already placed my order for a PS4 as I don't trust MS at all now.
