Dead Space 1

Must say this is pretty good so far, even though its a bit consoley (and evidently a direct port). It is very similar to Event Horizon in tone (along with Alien).

Graphics are rather good for a 5 year old game too...

Dead Space the original was a brilliant game but playing it 5 years later is not something i would be doing.

That's one of the games I have been meaning to get, I have the second one on my PS3 from PS+ but wanted to play the first one first. I probably wont get around to either though, so many games so little time!

I generally wait for games to become cheaper than buy them straight away.

Your a developers Nightmare of the highest order,imagine if we all took that stance ? There would not be a Gaming industry and nobody making games.

You got far more patience than me,i want games even before they are released and to wait a extra day would be painful,5 years i don't think so.

Oh, there would still be people who make games; people who would know originality if it knocked on the door of life and requested a re-run; people who would be able to create games for everyone; people who would be able to release decent games for free or a reasonable amount.

Funny you say that I only watched Event Horizon for the first time recently as it was on Sky Movies and I thought "Wow, this is very Dead Space!"

I wonder if it was a favourite of some of the developers, I think they definitely took a lot of inspiration from it. It was a really good movie to be fair and I am not usually that into Sci Fi.

1 and 2 are good but stay away from number 3 as that was horrible when EA went in and messed it all up.
