I think its a given that GTA5 will be a massive success,just look at the past games and how popular they turned out

BTW why don't you hang on to your PS3 incase you fancy playing TLOU/GTA 5 etc ?

There was a time mate when I would have a Nintendo Wii U [dont laugh [wink] a Xbox 360 and The playstation 3.

I would have bought both the Xbox one and the playstation 4 but Microsoft shot themselves in the foot as far as they cared for there core gamers as I have said during numerous posts.

GTA5 would have to be absolutely mind blowing online for me to consider keeping the playstation 3, and it would have to be confirmed by Rockstar that it will be a long time coming to Playstation 4 and I don't see this happening.

I have literally played The Last of us to death but couldn't really get into the online side of the game as I only take to a small number which are mainly games like Killzone which I would say the majority of my online ventures has been.

There is little point hanging on to the playstation 3 because I know that once Watchdogs ,Killzone Shadowfall and Battlefield 4 turn up on my doorstep I won't be wanting to play GTA 5 unless its completly mind blowing.

As good as its going to be we will have been playing it for a couple of months before next gen lands,normally within a few weeks I get bored with quite a fair few games so I'm thinking after 2 months I will be ready to move on,besides this will be on a Playstation 4 within 3 months of launch Guranteed .

As good and brilliant The Last Of Us is its basically now just sitting there ,finished the single player twice and spent a couple of hours online but haven't touched it for about 3 weeks and buy the time I would like to revisit it I bet this is on a Playstaion 4 also.

Yep he is dead right.......I do this so he can go into game shops and pick it up at a cheaper rate.

I'm sure he hangs out in charity shops for everything else....

Nothing like getting a little back for games you have finished or did not like.....buy a full price game say £39.99 take it back within about a month and you get £25 for it so the cost of the new one is £15 ....makes perfect sense to me and I get to play a lot of games

it will be. but I think their online game will be more lucrative.

also generally online games are cheaper to make as AI doesnt need to be so developed as its human vs human.

Was there online in GTA4 because if there was i don't remember playing it.

Don't know if I'm more hyped up for this than i was for the Last Of Us.

See in truth im not a big fan of open ended massive games on this scale with so much to do and see,but its Rockstar and its GTA so you kind of have to blend in and go with the flow,besides i adored Red Dead Redemption and i just love the way they have fantastic characters and great dialogue with top notch voice acting and brilliant cut scenes and action a plenty.

So i just picked up on a story that the online mode in GTA5 is not available until Oct 1st, 2 weeks after the launch of GTA5................Weird or What ?

There was an online mode for GTA4, although they made it rather... difficult... to access, as though it was a secondary consideration.

Hopefully it is easier to access in GTA 5, but its not a game I'm particularly interested in - I absolutely loathed vehicle control in GTA 4 - was far too consoley...
