Mate, I'm the same. I can't afford to buy willy nilly and try to wait as long as I can muster. That ain't easy with GTA V (I was really looking forward to taking Trevor for a test drive smile).

Waiting is cool, but not waiting doesn't mean you're a mug either. wink

Yeah I don't know how Game are still in business ,stopped using them about 4 years ago now and I wouldn't touch them and neither does the idea of going to any of there shops ,shopto.net serves my needs just fine and my local Blockbuster comes in handy for everything else game to related like trading .

I must be doing something wrong as I can not seem to get any story mission progress past mission 4 ,there is nothing on my map that indicates any pointers towards any mission, done the ? Missions and visited shops, played around of golf and tennis, went to another end of the map took a cable car, jumped on a trials motorbike and drove of the top of a mountain....guess what happened next.

Yep I was walking out of a hospital, have switched between the 2 present charectors but still no story mission......Must be me been totally Thick [dont answer that swanny] or I'm completly missing what I'm looking for.

Will go back to Micheal and Franklin houses later after footy to see if anything changes there.

Well it's not really a chance at shopto.net is it,there delivery rate is second to none and if most company's postal service was like there's then I would not have problems ordering from other people.

Generally I hate ordering online and have waited 5 days for a delivery of a memory card for my vita from a place not 40 miles away from my house, and after all that it took them 2 weeks to credit my account because the card did not work.

Agree with you there, we are on the same page after all smile money no issue I would buy every game that looked semi decent on release day. Then they could sit on a shelf and look good because I haven't got time to play them lol

I bought my PS3 in Game in 2009 (actually a good deal) then used some credit towards GTA 4, but since then I haven't bought a single thing there. They are a rip off so I don't even bother looking now.

I'm just playing as Franklin at the mo. He now has a nice afro and matching beard smile
There doesn't seem to be anything different to the last GTA I played. The one with the Romanian bloke in it. Except it wants me to download an app to my phone and has a facebook section.
Wished I bought TLOU now instead :/

No you don't! just think of that nice hairdo and beard combination. Does TLOU have that? No. Of course it doesn't.

Yeah, there's an iPhone app I read about for looking after some mutt which is actually meant to interact with the main game whereby the dog becomes more responsive and useful to you if it's well treated. Shame there's no android version just yet. But there's gonna be a huge downloadable game manual in app form for both platforms with a nice interactive map so that's cool.

Still on the fence about getting a PS3 to play GTA 5. I know it'd be foolish really (what with the PS4 coming soon) but I am seriously tempted by that special offer Timey linked to as I'd love to play RDR. I'm certain GTA V will make its way to the next gen and reckon there's a decent chance TLOU will do also, even if it's download only.

Yea I played as the dog until it went after another dog and started humping it smile
I don't have a smart phone so the apps are useless to me laugh

I have only managed to find one stunt jump on a bike so far. I took off and langed on the roof of a bus but failed because I rode off the bus, I think I was supposed to stop on the roof. I went back and tried again but the bus was somewhere else that time

That's dogging in a whole other way. You can actually play as the dog? Weird. Dog's eye view eh? Sounds disgusting... wink

One of the great things about GTA is all the little in-games and effort needed to master stunts and vehicles. I remember how frustrating it was controlling the planes in San Andreas, and that coming from someone who had spent ages learning to fly in BF1942/BF2 so should've been better. But once you've got the knack it's very rewarding.

Not sure about mastering the dog but it might be nice to bite a few people. grin
