Will Microsoft be using this extra cloud processing power from day 1? It will be interesting to see what difference it will make to games on XBOX1. I think next year is still very early days for this technology and I do not think Sony are left behind in anyway not having it up and running yet. And lets not forget all the problems this technology can and will have. Just remember back to SimCity this year.

From my understanding of it , they will be using it from day 1 , its an integral part of their plans for the future .

And your right I don't know how its going to pan out but my point was " when you move away from the hardware , what other parts of the PS4 are nextgen ? " its just a more powerful console with little in the way of innovation .

Here is the real problem for Microsoft............SONY wink

Its all well and good having a great gaming cloud service but you also need blockbuster type titles to use it and Microsoft has not bought anything that decent to the table.

Where are there big Franchises apart from the driving game Forza, where is there Halo Gone[Eloped with Bungie doing other multi platform titles like Destiny]Where is there Gears, previous one not done by Epic games and laundered out to people can fly who completely ruined it and didn't even include one of the most addictive online experiences we call Horde Mode.

Only time will tell who has the better system and Games and Online service so even though i agree with many of your views i still can not forgive what Microsoft originally bought to the table even though i played my Xbox 360 way more than my Playstation 3 except exclusives which quite frankly Microsoft have lost in there droves.

People harp on about how powerful a PC is most of the time one here, its one of there reasons why they choose to play games on them.

Don't tell me a more powerful system does not matter ? it open many doors for developers and increases what they can achieve when designing and making games.

What the console looks like is purely an objective thing . me personally , I absolutely don't care , its not even on my list of considerations . I would never pick form over function .

Neither would i but Sony Design and R and D department seems to be streets ahead of Microsoft, thats why we all ditched are massive big fat Televisions and moved on to screens about half a inch thick with better resolutions, same with phones and same with most media gadgets.

I doubt Bert you yourself is still using and Nokia 3210 wink and you have what i suspect a nice ultra modern smartphone based on looks and function ?

If i was going to get a Xbone this is what i would Buy

I don't believe porting a game from one console to the other is going to be a issue as the arcuteture are more or less the same but porting a game that uses cloud computation to a console that does not ,could be very interesting .

I really hope that Microsoft and there Cloud Gaming nails it.......For me there is only one winner.......Gamers like myself.

I see Shopto have now announced more xbox one console pre/orders guaranteed for release day after having another shipment from Microsoft.

Let the console war begin......wink Nintendo need not apply blush

Well hardware is a major part of it and as I pointed out Sony already has a streaming/cloud service in Gaikai so I don't really see what Microsoft has that Sony do not? Although it seems MS will have the cloud working before Sony but I do not think this is a problem.

Nor me ,and Sony have way more exclusive games in development far more than Microsoft, and Games sell consoles not cloud gaming with little to nothing at present to use the service.

Agree. A new LBP and TLOU sequel is enough to give Sony the upper hand for me tongue

Sorry but this post makes no sense to me , as its obvious you have not looked at the releases coming out on Xbone , not just at release but next year .

All the big exclusives are on xbone and not just made by in house studios , like killzone . and the reason they are , is Microsoft have all that Xbox live money to secure them .

There is no getting away from the fact the PS3 is the more powerful machine but then again it needs to be as it doesn't have cloud computing . how much that will come into play I don't know but I'm betting quite allot .
