Who actually cares about sites like Netflix when you have Sky Movies and many other ways of watching movies without the need of Netflix ,Amazon,Love Film and all the rest.

netflix customers care.

sky movies is a (overpriced) scheduled broadcast mechanism which in todays age is dated, its why services like netflix exist.

BT Infinity 2 Since Dec 2012 - BQM

I care about them as I do not have Sky Satellite TV but have Netflix and NOW TV (Sky), currently the PS3 is the only device I have aside from PC's that can access them. So I find it very useful that the console has these services and I am sure many others do.

Well each to there own i guess but on a personal level all i care about regarding a console is that it does one thing and thats play games.

Yeah I agree the games should always be the priority when making a console but the streaming apps/services are a nice addition. The availability of them wouldn't make me choose one console over another though because after all standalone media streaming devices aren't that much now.

Yeah i do use my playstation 3 as a media device for streaming my MyBook live stuff refference Twonky or whatever they call it.

Saying that its hit and miss when it actually shows the media in the folders, lots of times it says no data and i normally end up connecting to my book live and having to do another scan or Rebuild of all the data i have added.

When it works its nice and it means i don't have to have this iMac on to stream data, now according to reports the playstation 4 has no media server capabilities and won't play MP3 either.

Seems all these basic things you expect to work with next generation consoles are now been revealed that they won't after all the pre/orders have been placed.

Yeah I think I had issues with missing files when I tried using my external HD plugged into the router, haven't had any problems when using a USB memory stick though.

How about of a Bluetooth headset firmware update because the majority of us have got £150 to £200 turtle beach and Pulse headsets that won't work.....how stupid is that...

I mean I got a PX5 turtle beach .....don't work ? But a PX4 according to turtle beach works straight out the box.....when did a PX4 become a newer model than a PX5 or do Turtle beach work backwards..mad

I thought that's what was meant by "legacy headsets" and will be dealt with in the immediate firmware update they're on about?

In other news, the pulse is a lovely headset, stylish modern design and extremely comfortable. But useless without the tuppence USB receiver that comes with it. And guess what? After mine being broken by the kids, it seems its not possible to purchase a replacement as Sony never catered for replacement parts. How wrong is that?

Still trying to decide what to do, but I think Sony UK receiving some sustained and repetitive correspondence will be a good start.
